After launching our proprietary technology to clients in 2023, the business saw early success. In the first 12 months we grew to a team of 35+ with operations in Malta, Belgium, London, and Portugal, we have integrated 80+ clients, and our network now includes over 60 acquiring partners.
Today we remain an ambitious team, dedicated to building a payment orchestration platform that removes all boundaries and limitations for businesses of every size and industry.

Our founders
Paytently was built on the foundations of three founders with exhaustive experience in the payments and fintech world. Samuel Barrett, Laurent Reysbosch and Nick Tucker have over 50 years of collective experience building award winning payment products for the world’s biggest fintechs and banks. Their expertise comes from working at Viva Wallet, Checkout.com, Trustly, Truelayer and Lloyds Bank, to name just a few!
Samuel Barrett: 15 years experience building and scaling financial technology businesses as a commercial leader in Gaming & Payments.
Most recently, successfully exited after building out the gaming division at European unicorn Trustly. Now an early stage investor in fintech, payment advisory expert, holding advisory roles across various financial institutions in the EU.

Built HiPay to be one of the most successful acquiring brands in gaming; held management positions at leading acquiring fintechs Checkout.com and Viva Bank / Viva Wallet.
