Position overview
The Junior Merchant onboarding Analyst plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding experience for new merchants. This position is responsible for reviewing application, verifying documentation, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with merchants and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities
1. KYC Documentation and Customer Profiling
- Gather and review KYC documentation from prospective clients.
- Create and review customer profiles in the Company’s CRM
- Ensure KYC records are complete and up to date.
2. Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with internal and external parties to obtain necessary KYC Documents
- Work closely with partners to verify documentation and compile customer risk assessments.
- Support the CRO and Integration teams as required.
3. Research and Risk Assessment
- Document research and analysis related to financial activity and associated entities,
- Review customer files and risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
3. Administrative Support
- Assist in administrative tasks related to merchant onboarding.
Key requirements
- 1 - 2 years of experience in onboarding, compliance or a related role (preferred but not required for entry-level applicants)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment a
- Knowledge of KYC, AML or compliance regulations is a plus.
